Default engine swap, car starts but wont idle, questions??

Ok I have a 1992 eg hatch with a b18b1 engine, i took the motor out yesterday and when we put it back in and tried to start it, it started but the idle pulses from 1000-1500 like im patting on the gas. Everything is the same as when i took it out (it was only took out and put back in in 1 day)

these are the only 2 things i think that are different than before;
a harness connector that has nothing going to it (didnt notice it before)
then a sensor on the intake manifold i lost the cap so i put a screw in it.

i did not take off the timing belt or distributor.

here are some pics

I am also running open header this time could that be it?

its the sensor find a another one and replace it. it probably has a crack on it and causing a vacumm leak

a vacum leak would cause a surging problem.....

reset the ecu to clear alll codes........ it could be a grounding problem

grounding an engine is important...

you need to reajust your base idle using the screw on the throttle body.

His idle is surging so probably not. Clean the IACV and if that does not fix it look for vacuum leaks. Also check to make sure you hook all of the lines up.
