long story short i had to make an abrupt lane change in my 96 civic coupe on the fwy i hit the brakes and swiched lanes the *** end got out hard i counter steered it got out again this time the other way, i coutersteered again and got it strait and was headed for the island figured expletive it atleast its not another car bam hit island and lost a lot of atf, my front lip, and one wheel.
this happened because i hit the brakes which caused weight to shift to the front so the rear looses traction then i changed lanes hard and bam fish tale... normally this is not a huge deal but: if your tires are old (aids in loss of traction) your suspension is stiff (increases lateral force putting more pressure on my crappy tires), and youve upgraded your front brakes (causes even bigger weight transfer) this may happen to you... be careful guys!!!
this could have turned out a lot worse for me... so im not that upset but man i have a fucked up day to look forward to tomorrow.

Yeah glad you and the car will be ok.
Its funny how a video game can help like that.
I used to go "mudding" In my cherokees and wrangler and you wouldnt believe how much that helped me as far as learning how to controll a vehicle in a slide, and get it to go exactly where i wanted it to. I rolled my first cherokee before I got this experience, and after that too I could feel what my car/jeeps wanted to do more, and could controll them better.

well, i know the limits of my car and ive done it many times before... thing is this time i passed over a shoulder area which had a bunch of loose gravel and debree... i dont know if it was that or my old tires but either way im ok need a new tranny and windshield (thank you worthless honda passenger side airbag)... yeah next time i might be passing too though cause i guess you never know...

First week I had my turbo on I had my *** end kick out on me like that. Scary when you go through third without realizing that 3rd ends at 90mph, I touched the brakes entering a long gradual corner and the back end kicked out, just had to let off the brakes and she came back.
Thank god for Koni Yellows and Ground Controls... I would have so been in deep ****.

Harry Hogge: What do you know about stock car racing?
Cole Trickle: Well... watched it on television, of course.
Harry Hogge: You've seen it on television?
Cole Trickle: ESPN. The coverage is excellent, you'd be surprised at how much you can pick up.
