Hi,

Lately I been experiencing oil leaks on my 1993 Honda Prelude Vtech H22 engine every morning under the car. Many times I have to add a quart of oil. Does anyone know what could be the problem and how to fix it?

Its a swapped engine? I take it that is why you posted here and not in the Prelude forum. Is it a bad oil pan gasket?

I checked my oil pan gasket and it looks good. I decided to take it to a mechanic and he told me it was the seals inside the engine. Could this be the symtoms of oil leaks on my engine aswell. He is charging me $800 to replace seals inside the engine.

 

What seals is he replacing exactly?
For that much money I could do a total engine rebuild.
You should find out the exact seals that are leaking and then shop around some.

you sure the cam seal is not leaking? I replaced that bad boy at 80k miles on my H22.
