How many people are pushing over 450whp on a T3/T04E turbo

Default How many people are pushing over 450whp on a T3/T04E turbo

just wondering how many people are pushing over 450whp on the garrett t3 t04e .60 turbo, i have this turbo that came with my peakboost kit and want to make somewhere around 450whp but i dont want to upgrade the turbo just yet when i just bought this kit

I think 450 is probably the limit on that turbo. Defintly feasable though.

at what psi though ?

im in the same boat you are.

i got a similar turbo and i already want to upgrade.

i was thinking about the 35r.

all depends on the motor, headwork, turbo manifold... too many variables.

Im making that at about 17 psi, on a 2.0 gsr(pump gas).

see my numbers in my sig.. same turbo... add about 15% to my numbers for dynojet numbers... the turbo still has about 4-5 more psi in it as well.

Most t3/t04e's take a good 20-23psi on a good setup to hit 400 on pump gas. I'd bet that c16 and good tuning could get you 450, assuming you hook up with a very good tuner. IMO if you're doing 450whp, you've already dedicated it to the drag strip, as 300+ on the street is usually useless in the lower gears. By then, you should already be considering a large BB turbo.

I've seen many set-ups that got around 420whp with less than 20psi, or about's. It really depends on your set-up, but a ported head, aftermarket cams, nice flowing exhaust all play into the amount of HP made at a certain psi.

Everyone will have a different HP at the same psi, with the same turbo......

stock gsr head with slight port and polish
supertech dual valve springs
gsr cams
skunk 2 intake manifold
str 68mm throttle body
rc750s
str fuel rail
socketed p28 with hondata
peakboost turbo kit
custom 3" exhaust with 3" downpipe

i just cant wait til its back together, its killing me driving my all motor integra lol
ill be happy to break into the 400s, its a street car but probably wont see full boost unless im at the track
