k series question?
I am building a k20 head (cams valves etc..) and looking to get a k24 block. sooooo is it worth buying the k24a2 (tsx)block because of the compression or get on of the other k24as' that are more readily available ....all the blocks seem to have the same torque.... let me know what you think.... and any one recomend tranny because i will prob track this car....should i go with the 5sp because of the tourqe for longer gearing or should i go with the 6sp. chassis is a 98 ek

if you are building a head then build a block... k24a1 is crv block & k24a4 is accord/element & k24a2 is TSX. I have heard of valve/piston clearance issues with k24? I think it was a4 but not sure. these a1/a4 longblocks go for $600-$1000
then send it out to be sleeved & get forged internals
