Default ok prelude experts

I did a search, so give me credit there.
Im trying to find out if there was ever a prelude Si that had Vtec.
I drive a Crx SI and of course my ride does not have Vtec.
Probably a dumb question.
Thanks guys.

actually, in 1993, there were 3 models:

S
SI
SI-VTEC

then in 1994, they removed the SI prefix for the VTEC models.

I think hes just interested in USDM models, if we were to go into USDM, JDM, EDM, and ADM (Aussie Domestic Market) there would me mad chaos and confusion.

Vti's Vti-R's SE, SE-rVit-Type R , and what-have-you

EDIT: unless there's also an SE avavilable in the US?

92-96 prelude Si 2.3l dohc non-vtec 160hp
92-96 prelude S 2.2l sohc non-vtec 140hp
93-96 prelude VTEC 2.2l dohc vtec 190hp
i believe the 93 VTEC was called Si VTEC, not sure though.

in japan VTEC came on 92 models as well, and it was available in automatic too.
some VTEC models also came with 4WS.

To simply answer yor question. no Prelude Si had VTEC.

The VTEC model is separate, however was labeled Si-VTEC in the first year.

However, that being said, swapping the H22a DOHC VTEC motor into a Prelude Si is about as easy as engine swaps get...so you see lots of those around...

There never was a Prelude Type R....although there is some guy in Japan that claims he has the only one (4th gen), like it was a test model and stuff...I remember the threads on some board..it was pretty funny cause everbody was ripping him.
