99 dc2 obd2a or obd2b?
I thought the integra change over in 00, making the 96-99s OBDIIa and the 00-01s OBDIIb. I thought the civic changed in 98/99, but the integra in 99/00.....
shame on me for jumping on that so quickly. the majority of posts found searching says 00-01 is obd2b. the ecu i had was off a 2000 but for some reason i thought it was a 99'.

you are correct....
96-98 civics/96-99 integra's are obd2A
99-00 civics/00-01 integra's are obd2B

So what is the difference with the pins/connectors? I got a used conversion harnness coming in the mail for an obd2b to an obd1 ecu. How can I make the obd2b harness fit on my 98 obd2a wiring harness? Will it slide right on??? or what will I have to cut/modify to make it fit my 98 teg harness? Thanks

Ya they have the same plugs, but the wires are completely different.
If you really had some time. You could re-pin them. <-- Alot of time.
