Default Your suspension

I am currently running Neuspeed "Race" springs and Tokico Illumina shocks. And I hate them. The shocks are now blown (after a year) and the ride is unbearable.

I need to buy new springs and shocks now. I am curious as to what the rest of you run and what you think of them as far as ride quality and handling.

Thanks a lot!

ground controls and koni yellows on the civic (the harsh as all hell, race car ride)

i am running ground control and kyb agx. i love my set up because i can make it into a race car feel or a nice soft ride. one of my friends was in my and he said it felt like a bmw. so i would get this set up. i think it is the best. unless you go for something like the apex suspention...but they are like 2000 or something....hey if you want to go with something like apex let me know i can get you some prices it is all in what kind of ride you want.

Anyone heard anything about the Bilstein BTS Suspension? ( http://www.shockwarehouse.com/cgi-bi...s/bst_bts.html ) They're 629.31 set from that site. 4 shocks and 4 springs.

I think that coilovers with a B Series swap suck. I had H&R Sports I liked those a lot. Don't forget Gabriel Ryder Shocks

I still have the d16a6 actually. I am mainly looking at the Bilstein BTS Kits because they're only $630. Which is basically maxing out the budget. ANyone heard anything about them?

I have tokkico blue struts and shitty *** coilovers that suck a big one. I am intrested in buying neuspeed race springs. How old are the ones you have and what do you want for them. Alot of people say blues suck but I like them and I am wondering if these people have had them or are they just jumping on the band-wagon and saying they suck?????

The springs a few months short of being one year old. I think I got them in August of last year. I bought them for like $200. I dont really know what they're worth...how about $100?

I too am running kyb agx/ground control.....it handles great, but rides like a bitch. What do I care? Its my little race car so as long as it takes the turns good, I'm happy. The other day one of my "more on the non-educated car side" friends asked if I didn't have any shocks or something....it was hilarious.

I have aerospeed adjustable coilovers (the good ones) and O.E. yes you read right O.E. replacment Gabriel struts. I do no other type of racing except for drag racing, When I go to the track, I jack the rear up slightly to minimize weight transfer for traction purposes. When normal driving, it feels almost stock, just a little stiffer. I love it, handles good, rides good, cheaper what more could you want?? Now if you do road racing, autocross ETC. you may want to consider something else, but if the shoe fits, wear it

I run neuspeed race with Koni Yellows, ES Bushings, and ST sway-bars (23mm frnt and 23mm rear). Nice and stiff but find the set-up great for autox, kinda stiff for the street....

Intrax springs and Koni yellows. How do you like them? How is the ride? And what did they cost?

Does the car like to throw you all over the place when you go over bumps?
