Default SEARCH>>no results.>>>strait pipe

i wasnt too sure where to post this, but if its in the wrong section im sorry and moderators feel free to point in the right direction

anyways, i was wondering , how much would a 2.25 strait pipe with a ES oval exuahst run on a 97LS?

im looking to change out my piping because i have a leak, its stock piping.

its a LS motor and i couldnt find any results when i used search.

thanks in advance.

also how much would a LS tranny run me?

a few local shops charge usually 100-150 for full piping not including the price of the ES muffler

First off it is straight. "Your search for straight pipe returned 140 results."

Good luck finiding an ES, for some reason everyone has been sold out of them. If you cant find one you might also want to look at the vibrant racing muffler.

Anyhow try to find a shop that can do it for around $70-75. I know some here in SOCAL.

But make sure that the pipe quality will not rust out.

GOOD LUCK.

expletive the straight pipe. why would you need it? on a 97 LS it will actually make your car feel a lot slower in the low end and the top end gain isn't even enough to notice its there (except the constant blaring exhaust note that reminds you it is there no matter what rpm your in). if loud = fast in your car then get it, but i can tell you that mine has been sitting in my basement for a couple years now.

by the way, it made my car sound like total ***, smelled terrible, made me sick, and didnt make power. i only got it to use for flanges, but I never cut it up.
