Default Rota 16x7 on a dc2 205/50/16 ok?

I like the look of beefty/fatty tires on a wheels... so the 50 series got my attention. Plus it well save my rims from being curb if somehow I got to close to a curb. Also it should ride smoother.

I would like 205/50/16 on some rota 16X7

My friends say to get 205/45/16 instead, I had this size on some gt3s they were toyo prox and I didnt like the look nor the ride.

What do you guys think is a good size? I dont want to buy some tires that I wont want later on cuz of the size.

Is 50s that big of a differences???

cons/pros to this question????

Also how much would a set of 4 Hankook Radials 106 new cost me in
205/50/16 or 205/45/16 ?

ya I shouldnt go with what others think but it always help in making the right choice.

assuming u had 195/55-15 stock tires then running 205/50-16 will make yer car run 2.7% too slow.....when you are reading 60mph you will really be going 61.6mph.

plus it may cause rubbing if they are too fat

which tire would you get

set of hankook radials

set of Kumho spt

I can get both the same price, which is a better buy?

Correct. For an Integra, you can get 205/45-16 or 215/45-16. Both are within 1 percent of the outer diameter of the stock size. 205/50-16 is too big; in addition to the speedometer and odometer being off, they may rub. Stick with 205/45 or 215/45.

You don't mention which Hankook tire you're talking about. However, the Kumho SPT is a better buy than any Hankook IMHO, even without taking the rebate into account. If you get the Kumho SPT, don't forget to send in for the $40 rebate within 30 days of your purchase.
