Unless your ITR/Whatever is your beater.. who here likes their older beaters better than their new pos hondas?
-Dave, who likes both his beaters more than the pos honda.

i love the rex......problem is, when i get in the new POS it feels blindingly fast in comparison. my beater is soon to have boost though, im sure a 10psi d series will be more fun
so i admit it, i love my beater!!!!

cx beater
itr track car
The car I drive everyday has no A/C and the interior consists of a dash, doorpanels, and two front seats. Nothing else.
The track car has cold A/C and full interior.
There's something wrong with me, but it sure is fun.

Alright, sounds like we need to set up BeaterWars 2002!
3 classes of hardcore beater racing:
1) Street Beater - 100whp or less, stock engine (no swaps), no power-adders (no turblow unless factory, no nitrous, etc)
2) Unlimited Beater - 100whp or more, any engine, any power-adder
3) Wife Beater - Dave's POS

I like my winter beater in the winter...
"Easy Does It" - 1989 Mazda 323
The most fun we had all winter was in Civic Sista's CRX with Blizzaks after watching some WRC replays and during a Wisconsin snow storm!!!

Unlimited Beater, eh?
It's on!!!
Who's down for Beater EXPO? Forget ITR EXPO, we'll all drive our beaters out to a racetrack and have at it.
Excuses like "I don't want to put too many miles on my car" or "I'm afraid it might get dirty because my car is a pansy, garage queen" are thrown out the window.
BEATER EXPO 2003, be there.
EDIT: And no, ITRs will not be allowed with us at this event. We don't want them holding us up in the straights... and in the turns.

-Dave, who is going to register http://www.beaterexpo.com

2) Unlimited Beater - 100whp or more, any engine, any power-adder
3) Wife Beater - Dave's POS
Wouldn't class three be limited to F-bodies and mustangs?

))Pat, whose torque-monster wagon would 0wn Street Beater
the D15Z1 will beat down all sub 100hp sissies
The street class would be the most hotly contested class, one mistake that causes you to lose momentum and you're out of it.

Reid, who is jumping the gun and planning to setup Rental Car EXPO if beater expo goes well...

i had a 92 cx that was much more fun to drive in the rain and snow.
then i sold it, and saw it lowered(with painted interior, monster tact, fartcanmuffler, clear corners, indiglo dash, and someother crap he put on there). missed her since it was raped with stupidity. do not sell your hatch to riceboys, even if you call them friends.

I know it's hard, but the first step is getting them to give up their visors.
exactly, we have a bet going that he wont add any more rice until he gets a motor swap, i give him two weeks and the car will roll nozzle squirters. it pisses me off so much that i dont want to help him with his motor or car anymore. i feel bad for any stocklooking car that gets rolled by this 92 cx in the future.
