Free '90 White Gauge face Overlays
Yes, you heard right free! If you got a '90 Accord (auto), you can go to my website and download the file, print it on high quality paper and install the white faces in your car, these should also work for '91-'93 (I guess) the only thing different on my '91 is that the '90 doesn't have the "Service" light. I plan on adding more in the future, but getting my hands on gauge clusters to rip of the faces and scan them isn't easy. Here's the site, go to "Freebies" on the menu:

You mean the picture on the front page? I photoshopped that picture, those rims are Spoon rims, quite expensive, not even sure if they come in our lug pattern, but Rota makes a set identical called the Slipstream, 15" set of 4 for $425 shipped! The Spoons are very light weight, the Rota's are not as light, but a very light wheel.

I just wanted to bump this up top so more 4th gen owners could see it. Hopefully there are more people out there like me, decorating their Honda on a budget.

I noticed the speedo overlay goes up to 140 mph like the 4G wagon does (as opposed to the coupe and sedan which only go to 130). Do you know if the gradations on the 140 speedo are the same as the 130 speedo? (meaning that the overlays are exactly the same, except one has an extra 10 mph tacked onto the end)

I should have mentioned that. I made these gauge faces by scanning in a 130mph cluster set. Then I modified them. I did not move the 130mph point, I just added another 10mph to the gauge... if you look you can see there is just enough room for it. I don't know how accurate the actual speedometer is over 130mph, but extra 10mph is the same needle distance as every other 10mph interval on the actual face.

Yes it will go past, no there is not a "little pastic stick thingy" those are usually only on the zero end.

Holy **** I never even thought of making one's own overlays. How does the gauge backlighting look through the paper? Hmm I might try a tach with a proper redline...
The light looks fine through them, not as bright as stock, but they actually appear brighter since the faces are white and the lights in top of the gauge cluster shine light on the front of them. If you print them out on nice paper you might wanna first make sure there is not a noticable watermark in the paper that might let more light through. I didn't move the redline on these gauges, I simply made it progressive.

Edit: I just realized how old this thread is, haha I found it through the search. But if anyone knows, I'd appreciate it anyways
Sorry i know this thread is really old but i'm thinking about doing gauge overlays and was wondering if the cluster for a 92 was front or back lit? it really doesn't matter if the links work or not (which they do for me)
Should be a combination of both.
There are overhead lights that light up the faceplate and needles and there are bulbs on the backside to light up the numbers.
