Default obd0 to obd1

I was just wondering i am putting a turbo single cam motor in to a 89 civic hatch i just bought and my motor is obd1 and the civic is obd0 and i was just wondering how to convert it to obd1 if it is possible at all... please help

i see that conversion kit but does that wire in vtec and everything does it just plug right in or do i need to wire or splice anything in. thanks

depends on which kit you get. With a conversion harness you need to run a few wires. It's not too hard at all.

You're going to need a obd1 ecu also to match the motor. Not sure if you have that yet so i figured i'd say it.

i built a conversion harness myself it's really easy...they parts cost about 5 bucks...then just some solder and heat shrink...do it yourself.

about how many hours would it take to wire up to obd1 and using obd1 injectors?? Im in the learning process right now before I jump in and start cutting.
