Black metal and racing cars, you're OK in my book.

The ATE Type 200 is good stuff too.

Was the oil brand new ? I use the prestone/ford oil, too. It does a very good job on the track, but I have to flush the system a few times / summer. the oil absorb humidity quite fast (i guess it would be exactly the same with the motul).

You're putting oil in your brake fluid?

There are several GOOD brake fluids. Read up and see what's available near you.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1788969: The ones nearer the bottom of the list are better. Those at the top, worse...

The nice thing about using Super Blue is the next time you change the fluid you should use ATE Type 200 (amber color). It makes flushing the system very easy.

Make sure you do not put DOT 5 fluid in a DOT 3/4 system, otherwise say goodbye to your rubber seals

Regarding the DOT 5 fluid - typically this is made out of a silicone and will not absorb moisture unlike DOT 3 & 4 fluids. What this then causes is the moisture beads to collect in the calipers, can then lead to vapor lock, and result in brake failure. Basically, don't use DOT 5 unless your car specifically calls for it.

I'll add here that the advantages of silicone based DOT-5 fluids are not those that racers care about. DOT-5 does not absorb moisture which makes it great for service interval between flushes, anti-corrosion, military vehicles and collector cars. But its performance at racing temperatures is not as good as what we get with our trusty old DOT-3 and -4 fluids.
