B16A not working

Default B16A not working

I am in college. In ingen R&R I brote a VTEC I rebelt it & swapt it into a 95civicDX. First I had a problum with spark esy fix but know I am having problum with timing we (ME my partner & the Instructer) went thrue everything many times but still won't fire right(with timing marks lind up plugs in order) we even switch between the stock and B16A ECU does not help. As for cods well with the stock ECU were giting 3, 41,& 14. This is supost to be done by fryday(tomarow) So Im probly going to get a bad grade but still want it to run. Plese HELP ME!

is this some kinda joke??? with all the 3rd grade spelling.

my guess would be put the car on a lift and start looking up and have your "partner" lower the car on top of you killing you for such a retarded post

what dizzy are you using if its a d series dizzy the angle is way off compared to a b series dizzy.
need more info.

When we were having problems with spark we took the internels out of the D series distributor and put them in the B16. As for engine codes with the B16 ECU we get 19.

And if you don't like the way I spell don't read it.(don't be rude)

Does anybudy know why I would get a code 19? Nether motor is atomatic.

I did the same thing on the last dizzy problem I had.
I used the d series internals and shaft on the b series case.
the problem with this is the dizzy on a d series sits at a different angle
than the way it sits on a b series.
take all three bolts out of the dizzy and make it sit at the angle a d series dizzy does and see if that changes the problem.
The way I had to fix it was use a b series case and shaft
then the d series internals will work fine.
