Add about 600 pounds in your car. That should give you a nice 2 inch drop.

c'mon take it easy on him...man don't cut your springs. If youre really low on money just buy some basic coilovers that fit over your stock suspension. The ride will be harsh..very harsh. but you can adjust how low you wanna go.

btw next time search b4 u post or else ull get flamed.

People like the OP are a flat out DANGER to everyone on the road, harsh or not he needs the reality check, if he refuses to use the search and is willing to chop his springs, hes a risk to you me that school bus loaded with cancer striken 8 year olds and the funeral caravan carring war dead.

Lets step back and think of this, on a redmial cars lesson... springs hold the car up... cut them, make it lower... hmm now the OP has enough logic to come here and ask, so he aslo would be able to work the search key or go to google to see Why cut springs are a horrid idea.

This means either one of two things, he read it and doesn't care about what down sides cut springs offer or is too lazy to search, meaning this doesnt matter to him as is.

No way really to aproch this nicly. All we can do is hope this slap will wake him up he can learn and safely enjoy this hobby.

I think i'd rather buy some cheap springs off ebay, rather than cut my springs. That's just a little too dangerous to be doing. Buy some Tein springs. The ride is nice and the drop is almost 2" and they're cheaper than coilovers.
