3" Turbo Exhaust
Yes, i have searched the threads on this and i know that the only company out there that MIGHT do a custom 3" is brullen. Anyways, Im having a hard enough time finding someone that can custom make me a 3" exhaust where the mandrel segments do not crimp on the inside. My question is this, if i use a 2.5"dp and run the 3" exhaust from the end of dp to the very back, how will the 2.5>3" work? I know a full 3" from front to back is the best, but i am just curious how the 2.5>3 will run. Im going to try my damndest to have a custom 3" dp made, but its gonna take a lot of researching. Any info is appreciated, this is for a 94 prelude.
Why dont u go with that new company 4ricerz and get a 5 inch pipe and u can boost ure way past those SOHC EX civics.........lamerZ!
silverludesi on this board and on preludeonline has a custom 3inch exhaust w/ a magnaflow muffler and also a 3inch downpipe. you should contact him and see who did his work...they might be able to custom you the same pieces.
go to a muffler shop and see what they charge for a 3in from downpipe all the way back....my buddy spent about $500 for them to do it....he even have a 3in cat as well....just buy a turbo muffler and have one of the muffler shops put a custom 3in piping...

just buy mandrel bent pieces of piping from http://www.roadraceengineering.com and then have a muffler shop weld it up for you! That is what I am doing. I plan to do it either this weekend or next so I will post pics! just as soon as my turbo shows up! I have everything else!
Let us know what you do, or what you find.

I know that a 3" DP is not easy, clearing the alternator seems to be the hardest part. I'm having a custom 3" system made, hopefully with a 3" DP, if not it will have a 2.5" flange and a 2.5-3" reducer for that initial clearance. RRE is a good place to get the flanges/pipes, great prices.
