I just up an H22 in my SI coupe. All gears work great 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 but I can't get it to go into reverse The tranny was in from the H22 motor that I removed from my car that blew and I put it on the new H22, there was so grinding prior but it did work and now nothing. Any ideas??

 

The reverse fork is bent and probably fucked. Search.

 

have tried letting the clutch up slightly while you select reverse, sometimes the syncro's need a little help to match up

 

Same exact thing happened to me last night. I couldn't get it in reverse for **** even with the car turned off, but for some strange reason, after driving around this morning, it finally started going into reverse....
