Default Muffler comming off mounts?

My muffler keeps comming off it's mounts; those two rubber ones in the rear. Muffler is stock, as well as b-pipe. Never touched the muffler for anything.

anyone got any ideas why this is happening? It worries me because obviously it is not good for the muffler to just hang there. Any suggestions on what to do to stop this?

I was thinkng of taking some silicon and putting it in the holes of the rubber mounts where the muffler hooks in. Good idea?

That's what you get for living in AZ, must be the heat or something.

take it to any local muffler shop & have them spot weld a washer on the end of each prong. You will still be able to pull them off w/pliers if you needed them off, but that'll keep the muffler on.

Question = How many miles do you have on the car? Your stock motor mounts are probably just worn out & that's letting the motor shift front-back more than originally intended. Get the ES mount set & install all 3 - problem solved

Sounds like they could just be worn out.

Best way is to get under there and check things out for yourself
