Default ITR Cluster

Ive heard from some people that this just doesnt plug and play. Is that true? Do you have to some modifications to get it to work right and if so what are they??

It depends on what spec cluster you run, for example I have a 97 gsr, I got my hands on a 97 spec cluster and it works fine. I don't know exactly what has to be done If you get one that doesn't match up with your year car, but I bought mine from someone who had a 94 and couldn't get it to work right.

It's plug and play some of the time. Many people have put them in and the fuel gauge goes to 0. This is due to having a 98-01 ITR cluster in a 94-97 Integra or vice versa. This can be remedied by swapping the green film from behind the gauges or swap the ITR gauges into your original housing.

^^ yes indeed. Try to stick to whatever year you have or else you'll have to swap the green film from your cluster over to the ITR one if it's not your year.

it's easier to just remove the entire drivers side of your dash then trying to get at some screws that hold the cluster in place....then blindly getting the harnesses unplugged is a bitch in itself....

removing the cluster is actually quite easy..... undo the two screws on the top in the gauge bezel, pull towards you and it should pop out. Now you will see your gauge cluster in most of its entirety. Directly on the top center above the cluster, there is one screw, and a screw on the far left and far right side of the cluster. Remove those, then slide it out towards you. Turn it to the side, and release the 2 or so harnesses that are plugged into the back. wallah! Takes me about 2 minutes to pull out my cluster.

then when u got the Cluster out, and your going to install the new 1(ITR) or wtv. will it be that easy to re-install. From the wiring point of view.when u unplug your old cluster will the ITR 1 go in with no Problems?
