Default wont start after engine swap...

i changed the relay cause i hear they tend to go out. it is a 95 accord with a non vtec to a vtec engine swap. i have lx ecu plugged in only because i am going to run with out vtec for a little bit. but i am not getting fuel or spark. i dont think im getting spark i tested it b4 the relay but that was it. i have gas and the fuse is in good shape. i looked at the intake and all the sensors are hooked up but i am so damn confused.... please help... i do think i broke a sensor though. the sensor is right by intake manifold a green and black wire go to it. and it is a round top. it is connected but i broke plastic os it dopest stay. i dont know what that sensor is.

did you hook up all the grounds on the engine?
Ground wire at the T-stat housing?
What year is the new engine?
Replace the broken sensor with one from the old engine?
Pretty simple to test for fuel pressure and spark!!!

ok heres his problem (or at least what I think) looked at the car today. He is running a 97 jdm acura cl engine. Checked for spark- none, fuel- none. looked what ecu he was running and he is trying to run a obd1 94 accord ecu with that motor. I think thats his problem because I am pretty sure that motor is obd2. Correct me if im wrong but that should definately get him going in the right direction.

lx harness. i believe so it was pulled form a car in japan. i am not going to wire up the vtec solenoid yet because i dont know what wires i need to swap but i also used my old distributor do i need the one off the newer engine and wire it up the same as it was in the cl or keep it wired up like a accord? and the thing the starter wire is coming off of is not bolted to the body does it need to be. or can you send me a pic of your under hood?
