Default vtec vS ivtec cam theory build

so, ok integra guys. Your building a 2060cc b18c. Basically the theory after this is following after big brother. Why? cause big brother is the cheapest most reliabilable, call it selling out or whatever you want.

so, that leads me right in to what cam to use, what was initially my question. Staying oem, does the extra use of displacement affect which oem cam should be used. Im starting this theory by oem parts.

Ya but, do i know if there is a big difference between big brother cams(k20 type-SorR) and itr or ctr cams.

Let me break it down. You have a k20 type-S and a ITR sitting side by side. For arguments sake, say the cams are interchangable between the two with no modification. That said, how much would you measure the difference?

OR) and heres where i start to make too much sense, cause baicaslly, to me, the ECU has MORE THAN THAT, meaning the cams are such a simple part, the cam has nothing when it comes to WHEN the cam works. as in v-tec acting like an on/off switch or whathave you, and then its like the i-vtec acts like multipule switch. ya know?

soo, knowing not what vtec does, rather HOW it does it, compared to i-vtec, would the vtec motor NEED TO have a stage 1 after market cam like toda or whatever to keep up simply cause it does not have the on the fly adjustability used to monitor i-vtec.

most ivtec only have vtec on the intake cam, the exhaust does nothing in the majority of ivtec motors. Some of them have both cams equiped w\ ivtec
