Default serious question for all b16 owners

soo theres this guy at my work who has a stock rsx type s and i have a 99 hatch with a usdm b16a2 swapped in with a aem intake on it well the guy wants to race me dor 200$ cash ...... do i even stand a chance?

right....if he knows how to drive then no...if he doesn't then possibly....i beat a 1st gen turbo eclipse the other day....so it is up to you...but y dont you guys go to the track rather than the street....dont want to end up like me with the car impounded for 30 days or even worse crushed!!!!

Street racing is weak.

The rsx pulls on my d16. And a b16 is pretty much a d16 but with a little texas pete.


I think you'll get dominated unless you are tuned with I/H/E.

Really it depends on the tune and the drivers.

If your buddy has his rsx tuned, I bet he'll stomp.

It's really a tough call man, but I still for $5 on him dominating.

You will not get "murdered," I don't care what these guys tell you. I have never personally raced a Type-s, but I have a friend who has raced a mutual friend of ours with a Type-s.

JDM B16 cx hatch
intake, exhaust, clutch, flywheel
vs.
'02 Type-s
intake, pulleys, exhaust

I wasn't there, but they are both equally good drivers, and they both admitted to a tie. I don't see this as unbelievable, and I don't know why everyone else does.

just got back from racing him hahahha thanks for your stupid *** advice because we did 0 - 80 on the freeway and i pulled half a car on him before he got to 80... I WIN!!! i know have 400 cash hmmm what to do. .... by the way we race 3 times first i missed into 3 loss second time i beat him by half a car 3rd time i beat him by about a full car THANK YOU

i had a j-spec h22 swapped sol and beat a type s from the start pulled hard on him up to 2nd then 3rd he caught right back up to me and 4th i was inching away from him and now i had a 96 b16a2 type r cams aem gears header exhuast and tuning and my sol wouldve hate my hatch up you wouldnt have a chance even if the guy really didnt even know how to drive i think
