Default gsr oem rod bearing colors question...

ok so you have to look at the letters and numbers on the crank and rods and match them with the appropriate color???

there is a chart im sure you can find somewhere on HT..

the numbers on the rod with the letters on the crank near each rod journal..

then you plug them into the chart to see what color bearing you will need..

they are to be matched with the numbers near each main journal on the crank, a different chart is for the main bearings

Yea, the block letters are for how large the hole is for the mains....then you have the codes for how large the mains are on the crank, how large the rod journals are and finally how large the holes are on the big end of the rod. 4 numbers total and you have to drop the oil pan, windage tray and oil pickup to read them off to order new bearings.
