Default crank shaft problem

i got a noisy crank shaft now ... its noisy.. is it going to be a problem ??

If I were you, I wouldn't even think about turning on that car. The more you run it, the more damage you are going to have. Most machine shops won't grind the crankshaft rod journals more than .030+.

If your sure its your crank, which i'm assuming would be pretty terminal, i would just go source a new engine. If you've spun bearings it wont be long till you've gone through the white metal and then you get the nice job off sitting on the side off the road with a broken car while everyone laughs at you when the pass, not very nice, especially if you've got an ironing board wing and a powered by HKS sticker! (i dont by the way)

well i changed the rod bearings.. i still have the knock noise, so im sure its the crank shaft

well if you spun a rod bearing you can't just fix it by putting in new bearings. the crank will have to be turned or polished at the very least and the rod is prolly garbage. new bearings might fix it for a minute but then its just gonna do it again. either way the motor needs to come out.

So you went in and changed the rod bearings but you didnt change the main bearings? WTF.
