driver side axle question

driver side axle question
I have just installed a axle for the driverside of a 94 civic 5 speed and it seems to fit good and the car goes into gear and drives fine but i now have a oil light coming on at random. I check and topped of the oil, so im not sure what the problem is as it comes on and off and flashes at random. any help would be great, thanks.
