Try cuttig the neccesary length out of the pipe directly after the cat and then add one of those dual female slip fittings from advance autoparts. get a couple muffler clamps to bolt it down and ur golden.

How much of a length difference are we talking about here?
The length difference between Civic and CRX B-pipes is about 7 or 8 inches (I don't remember the exact figure offhand), so unless your header is about that much longer, you're going to have to do some cutting and welding regardless. With the Civic B-pipe, you'll have to cut some, and with the CRX, you may have to extend it. If I were you, I'd just use the Civic B-pipe and have it shortened.

Like I said, I don't remember offhand. Perhaps I am confusing the figures with something else. I'll have to pull both of them from inventory tomorrow and measure.

NO!!!! the crx exhaust will not fit on the hatchback, even with the b18 header. the mid pipe will me about 4-6 inches to short and the rear muffler section mounts will be in the wrong spots. they people are telling you incorrect info. trust me as i just found this out the hard way.

The muffler sections are identical for Civic 3dr and CRX; they have the same part number (18307-SH3-508 for dual-outlet and 18307-SH3-506 for single-outlet).

I don't know how you got an SH3 B-pipe to work in place of an SH2 B-pipe without modifying it . . .
