Default there really are alot of new 06+ civics on the road

2 guys at work have SIs(1 blue 1 white), a few have EX or whatever the letters are

one guy who works near one of my work locations ahve a blue SI(i could have sworn they had a blue subaru RS98/99 before... kinda like me..)

hell even sanitation has civics...

but on a crappy note a guy with a blue civic non SI with SI wheels, blue signals and lic plate light bulbs was driving infront of me on the expressway service road and it looks asthough they threw somthing out of there car and it hit my hood and chipped the paint....(but it also could have been **** on the road)

Si wheels on a non-si - I'm sorry, but I fail to see how thats rice.

Could he have gotten a better deal... well thats unknown, because you most certainly don't know how much he paid for them. maybe he got the hook ups

now the blue lights on the license plate, thats some rice out **** right there

sucks that ****** cut you off or whatever, i hate drivers like that

Having Si wheels on an FG1 is tacky? I don't care if he paid $500 for those wheels. It doesn't make it tacky.

Putting OEM equipment on the car it goes on will NEVER be tacky**

Since I bought my Si a month ago, I've yet to see another Si on the road. Plenty of FG1's, but no Si's.

thats my point...those wheels DO NOT go on that car so technically they're not oem because they didnt come that way from the factory (thats how a dealer would consider it). otherwise all fg's would have those wheels. but i dont care. its not my junk

its kinda like an Fg1 with OEM acura TL rims. i think those look nice.

but putting fg2 rims on an fg1? i guess its called "rice" if they're trying to pass it off an an Si, but if its for the soul purpose of just making it look nice then its okay.

i personally wouldnt do it, its just like ITR badges on a non-R.

/o2 cents

that makes sense.. but its not like the Si rims have "SI" badged all over or anything

if someone is trying to make it "look" like an Si .. yeah that some sorry *** **** right there... but if someone (like myself) is just trying to get off the sorry *** stock 16" rims and upgrade to some 17" OE rims and can do it for a good price ... all good

still don't see see how putting "Si" rims on an "non-Si" is tracky/rice though
