Default To those who run HX rims.

What size of tire are you using? I was thinking of stretching a little to reduce the amount of rubber and tire bulge slightly and give it a bit more sporty appearance but I wanted the general consensus of the HX rim community to their favorite look.

Thank you for your time.

I'd fit the biggest tires on their I could. They're skinny as hell rims.

For real?! I was thinking about putting that exact tire on a set of 14'' steelies. Think it'd fit?

Sure it will fit, especially if they're the 5.5" steelies. Is it optimal though? No.

HXs are 14x5.5, which is pretty slim. You can get a 195 street tire on them, but the benefits of wider tires are only there if the rim is wide enough.
