my friend was telling because my 5speed ecu had mobilizer they dont match but if i go obd1 ecu it will start since the obd1 ecu didnt have a mobilizer make sence? can anyone help me with this i tryd to search it couldnt find anything if this has been askd ebfore sorry and could i get a link maybe?

go obd1, go to your local dealer to have the ecu matched to the key, or some locksmiths can do it for ya. also, is the green key light in your cluster on/flashing when u try to crank??? best bet is obd1 p72 or even p28(with im butterflies tho)
Take both ECUs to someone who can solder and swap the immobilizer daughter boards between the ECUs.
To convert the auto ECU to manual, move the SMD 0 ohm resistor from location RP13 on the bottom of the PCB to location RP14 on the top of the PCB. The 0 ohm SMD resistor is identified by code 000 etched on it.
Also, what year is your manual ECU? Depending on the year differences, you might want to convert your auto ECU to manual rather than swap the daughter boards.

If they are competent, and do exactly what I posted above, It will work fine. That is what I am running in my girl's '99.
