Default Gas Guage question

Hello, So I may have made a booboo but I slightly moved my gas guage when I was removing a set of indiglo guages. I have a really good idea of where it sat but Im not sure if it will re-align itslef when I put it back in the car. It's the only guage that does not drop back down to zero when the car is off.

The car is a 1990 honda accord DX 5speed.

Does anyone know the answer to this?

Thanks!

the gauge should correct itself. make sure the indiglo gauge face doesn't obstruct the movement of the needle. in other words make sure it's as flat as possible.
