hey guys... im sorry if this is another one of those Noobie questions...but i tried doing the search thing and it doesnt show any results...

so can i ask what kinds of alternators out there will fit my JDM B16a ... i need to change it and needed to know wats the best way to save cash and find a compatible one...

also if anyone can tell me if i NEED TO REMOVE THE wheel and axle just to replace my ALTERNATOR....

p.s. this is all happening on a JDM B16a in a 88 CRX...

 

the del sol (b16a3 i believe) worked just fine on mine... im sure the 99-00 SIs would be about the same?

Any b series will fit. Only diff between generations are just the plugs which can be repinned anyway.

so i can use the 92 LS Alternators too? like theres no watt difference right? and itll be normal for Vtec? thanks guys....

 

90-93 Integra alternators will work as would any OBD1 B-series alternator.

so basically as you guys stated...any obd-0 or obd1 B series distributor will fit...and i wont have a hard time with it during normal driving or Vtec right?

I have a LS alternator on my b16.

 

i bought mine for a 95 gsr and it works no problem

take the two bolts off the master cylinder push it aside and pull the alternator out the top.

 

I have a 92 Integra GSR alternator on my obdo b16 works just fine.
