Default Axles are binding in my B16 CRX

Okay, so...

I swapped in a B16A1 into my ED9 CRX. It has a Y2 tranny. I just put 90-93 Integra axles in it, and they fit, but they're binding. When I turn the steering wheel, it gets hard to a certain point, then it over-compensates and turns really fast. It's almost like the axles don't fit. I took the dust rings out of the hubs, so what else could be causing this problem?

are using the half shaft that came with the b16 for sure? Are you sure you properly reinstalled all the suspension?

Did you remove the rings from the rear of the hubs?

Check your mounts.
Then, make sure you have 90-91 Integra axles WITHOUT ABS!!! I CANNOT STRESS THE WITHOUT ABS PART!

Now, if problem continues, notch your forks by 1/8 inch on both sides of the car. My cheap mounts gave me axle issues, after a quick notch, it was fine. Took me 10 minutes per side.

Is your b16 from an SIR crx or an XSI integra because each uses a different half shaft. If its from the SIR then u need to swap out the half shaft for a DA halfshaft to run DA axles without them binding. If its from an XSI teg then you have another issue.

Actually, the motor/tranny came from a VTEC CRX here in Germany. Unfortunately, the axles in the donor car were junk. No luck finding any other axles. So I actually have 2 sets of 90-93 Integra axles, one set brand new and the other set is lightly used (very good condition). SO now I'm just kinda stuck. The car is drivable, but the steering is wack. You think you're making a right turn until you hit a certain spot, then you're making a sharp right turn.

Well that's the problem right there. If I recall correctly, you need the SiR axles or build a custom axle for it to work with ur SiR intermediate shaft. OR you can just get an SK7 intermediate shaft from an integra. Search for more info.
