Went to an autox the past Saturday and I cleverly lined up with several friends to take pics of their cars in comparison of rims for those of you who need a visual to decide your purchase.

This question may be Rota-rded but it looks like there is a turbo coupe there. Do many people autocross in turbo cars? I would have thought waiting for that to spool would hurt you too much.

I've autocrossed my turbo car before..

.. and won g-stock with it.

Yes and No.

The event was a very open BMW autocross (my car is the PY with the Millenia's and the white marks on the tires). The whole back section of the course was almost flat out from 40mph to 60mph in my stock car for about 4-6 secs (give or take). A turbo would of been well into it's range back there.

Also, Kevin (the owner) is a great driver who can get on the gas early. If he left foot brakes, he would not have to worry about spooling the turbo. Left foot braking works well for turbo's and underpowered cars.

Those are fastbrakes (HUGE).

Yup, running very strong in SM, always finish 2nd or 1st in our region. Runs the 1/4 in 11's with 18psi and running Autox in 8psi with the B18C.

And talk about running Turbo cars...This exotic broke at the end of the day and tow truck was called in:

That sucks. I bet that didn't do the wallet any favors. Not to mention those yuppies are probably still sleeping on the couch.

Dave: Did you see the video I sent you? I don't know neither, I have no guts to go up there and ask the mighty Porsche guys. I know that Rich drove the Carrera for a fun ride...maybe that's the reason? hehe....

I am slow with the tire changes, I am the last one to leave the parking lot, but the 911 owner is still on his cell phone while dwelling into the engine bay, something had gond havoc for sho!
