Default F22B2 in 91 cb7

whats good honda heads, i have a simple question. I own a 1991 accord LX and it has a burnt exhaust valve on the #4 cylinder. My boy just put a F23 vtec in his 97 LX and wants to sell his engine and tranny for $150. Now being that his car is obd-2 and mine is OBD0 can i swap his engine and transmission into my cb7 and just use my distributor and ecu. All responses are greatly appreciated. Thanx

you'd need an obd2 ecu. i beleive you have a p06 ecu and they cannot be burned with a vtec chip if i remember right?

well in your car ryt now you have a pt4 not po6 that actually can be chipped for vtec and to do the swap you will need to do some water hose rerouting but all else should be plug and play they all have the same sensors and plugs

any head from another F series engine will work. (any accord from 1990-2002 4 cyl of course) some have vtec which would make the install just a bit more involved. good luck!
