Hey the last couple times I've filled my car up with gas the needle on the gas meter is just below the Full mark..I have a 97 LS 2 door. Anyone have this problem?

yea it does that for me too. It just needs to sit i guess.

 

try filling it up until it leakes a little. when i do that, i get the tick mark 1 or 2 spaces past full. the needle touching the corner of the "F"

ditto that happens for me when i try to top it off to the next dollar, i feel like im gettin more gas and it makes me feel good lol

 

what about in my case ? when i fill up, it goes all the way .. touching the "F", but when i get empty, it doesnt touch the "E", there is like 1/4 of a cm between, it doesnt even touch the last bar, and i know its empty, kuz last time my car wouldnt start, so i pour a little gas in, and it started right away .. anyone know whats going on ??
