i just recently swapped a b16a into my crx swap went smooth and now i have no vtec, but the ecu is throwing no codes, if anyone has any suggestions or ideas i would greatly appreciate it.

 

are you running a VSS?

 

yes the stock one in the gauge cluster.

 

i thought the stock one is cable and not electronic

 

oil level?

 

yes it is cable ran, but the vss is in the cluster, from what i understand. i did not have my cable hooked up and it threw the vss code, i hooked it up and i still have no vtec.

 

oil was between the dots on the stick, should be good.

what cluster are you running?

 

the stock dx cluster with tach and speedo.

 

DX cluster has a tach?

 

ok you need the Vss to run to your ECU and than to your cluster. now i believe you need a cluster with a electronic speedo and not a cable speedo. something like EF8/9, 99-00 civic si
