Default cleaning carpet

i had mint carpet, kinda still do, until i couldnt avoid muddy feet in the car. i have zero stains in the floor, but these dirt spots that wont sweep out. I have a carpet scrubber with an attachment hose we have used on our beater subaru carpets before, worked great, but didnt care about consequences. well i want to know if its safe to use in the rex. it sucks about 95 percent of the water back out of the carpet, and i was worried about the little bit left over. i thought i could ude my heat gun and air compressor to fully dry it then, but what do you guys think is safe to do and effective?

Use the steam cleaner or whatever, and then put fans on it.

I agree use a steam cleaner, if you dont have access to one just use your method. Just make sure to put fans on it

****, if you can take the carpet out.
It only requires taken a few things out, but you do have to either cut your carpet behind the dash or take off the steel bar thingy thing thingy

if you can man, I swear this will make your carpet like new:
If you got a air compressor, get a little air sprayer thing, and just sit and blast the **** out of your carpet, you'll get out all the little dirt and rock n **** more efficiently, then use the cleaner/steamer and unless it's HORRIBLY stained, it'll look like new (at least thats my personal method I like to use)
