iv got a muffler on my car and i drove my car without one for a few months and it wasnt that much louder. i would have kept it with no muffler but i wanted the exhaust to stick out a bit and be noticable because it was cut off just after the axel. but that buddy club spec II comes out the wrong side.

My 5Zigen comes out the passengers side and I love it, and I've also made a 3" turbo back that comes out the right side. Theirs less bends in the exhaust, and it's a straght exit, definitely designed with performance in mind!

really loud exhausts (like buddy club) and straight pipes are baaaad ideas for daily drivers. i got a straight pipe on my car (no cat either, all straight) and i tohught my d16y7 was loud...my d16z6 is ARRR LOUD!!!!
Sounds like im drag racing when im accelerating at regualr speed with the traffic around me. draws to much unwanted attention and ****.
oh and dont forget loud noises attract cops. too loud an exhaust (or lack of one) will get them to pull you over and ticket you for disturbing the peice, breaking sound laws(being too damn loud), etc etc. And if you got an illegal straight pipe setup..ticket and/or even impounding.
Thats why im going with a mugen style twin loop design muffler.
DD and buddy club exhaust dont mix. ill take my **** straight pipe now over a buddy club to keep from being so loud.

i had no muffler on my d15b2 and it wasnt very loud at all.. maybe the engine just doesnt make enough power to be loud lol. but it wasnt louder then most of the motorcycles in my town wich mostly run no muffler and are damn loud. never got pulled over.. i actually went thru a ride program wile delivering pizzas one night and the cops just let me thru.. actually i went thru that thing like 4 times. myabe cat is clogged.

Loud exhausts are completely and utterly stupid. There was one on my car and I ditched it ASAP in favor of a GReddy SP2. Very happy with it.
