There have been lots of complaints from people on RMF lately.......If the waiting list is not like it is now, by the time my motor is out, I wouldn't think twice about getting my hands on one somehow.

Anytime you get custom headers like the RMF or SMSP you are getting a good quality product. As long as you can spit some serious cash.

he doesnt make the narrow version anymore for the h22.

the polished version you see above is the only one he makes now and its called the DRAG header. You can get it in stainless, mild steel uncoated and mild steel coated. It also clears your factory AC fans.

Yes, there have been alot of complaints and i am working on getting everything organized and do my best to make everyone happy. if you order a header, just be ready to wait because there is only one Randy and he doesnt have anyone helping him at his shop to deal with customers. He makes every header he sells all by himself. Not to mention that honda's are only a part of what he makes headers for.

They make power because the pipes are all equal length and merged into a collector in which each exhaust pulse pulls the other giving it an extra kick of exhaust velocity.

and the reason you hear alot about RMF is because people who know people with an RMF say how good it is and then there is a train of people who have never owned one who say its the best. Same with the rest of the custom headers. a fraction of the people who recommend X custom header actually own one and have experience with it.

takes too long to make and simply doesnt make the power of the drag version so says randy. This is why i am anxious to dyno test the power difference with the drag vs my narrow.

He makes a step header as well that is made for high hp motors. John's (Birdman) header is the stepped version of the DRAG.

Its a custom made to make power for your application as opposed to a mass produced item. RMF SMSP, Hytech and all the others make headers that make power. DC sports and the like make header because people want headers $$$.

header design goes well beyond reducing backpressure. Take a look at this article

http://www.burnsstainless.com/....html

I know ive seen an in depth writeup on one of the honda message boards that was excellent not too long ago.

If i where to get a header it woudl be RMF because of the reputation, pricepoint, and capability.

Each header is inspected by Jesus before being shipped-out.
