Today was a good day :-)
I got my shift linkage for the swap that going into the del sol! Cant wait till the weekend! I think i could have gotten it cheaper then this though. And of course, i went to church.
Got the linkage for $208.98.

I had to battle with the parts department though. Everyone was telling the del sol si and del sol vtec shift linkage was EXACTLY the same. It took a lot of convincing, but i got the right stuff!

i called hasport and they told me to call honda because they didnt make a stock replacement for the del sol vtec. so it was either the good stuff, or hacked together linkage. i like to do things the right way, 1 time

paying the stealer for that part isnt necesarily the "right way"
i've welded linkages with a sleve over the joint before and never had a problem. and it didnt cost me more than $4 and felt the same as my VTEC sol did when shifting.

if the part you need is #14, which I assume it to be since I searched for the part number, its only 75 dollars on http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com.
Return the one you got and buy this one. You could have it shipped overnight and still save money.:edit: heres a more direct link http://www.hondaautomotivepart...LEVER
good job bro on not cheaping out and buying the correct linkage for your car. cause it sucks that if we do a b-series swap into our del sol's we can only use del sol VTEC linkage. not like the EG's which can use the integra ones.
JHP has them for 169.00 + tax.

i would have needed 13 & 14. I looked online at the same site, and i knew it was cheaper, but then you have to take into account shipping/tax, and i would have needed fast delivery.
it might still have been cheaper but w/e. I sold the motor that was in my car to get this. so in essence i traded my motor for new shift linkage. doesnt bother me.

yeah same here. i had to prove to the entire parts department that the two linkages are different. everyone there thought i was a total moron until i showed them the part numbers were different
These are the del sol VTEC part numbers for the linkage:
54301-SR2-G01 which is the "EXTENSION, CHANGE"
54301-SR2-G03 which is the "ROD, GEARSHIFT"
