Default Lowered 91 EF Civic HB, Problem.

My 1991 EF Civic Hatch is lowered on Bilstein Shocks and neuspeed race springs, i recently put a new upper ball joint on the driver side front. and now the upper control arm bangs against the frame when ever i go over a bump etc...

How do i make it stop slamming against the frame??

it does have a front camber kit, and my winter wheels are on for now...

It`s the camber kit that makes it hit. It sucks cause to not wear your tires out you have to put up with this.

You can trim the edge on the upper ball joint to clear the frame, that`s really the only thing you can do.

what kind of camber kit did you use? ive seen some upper balljoint camber kits off ebay installed and they hit. they were a shitty cheap design.

its an ingalls camber kit, i just replaced to upper ball joint, and it only hits on the one side... maybe i should trim it down?? i bought it like this, so maybe it needs trimming....anyone??

it never had these problems before, and i only assume the guy before me would have trimmed it, cuz only the new one hits.

that civic takes to the german engineering quite nicely, and that would make sense, because Japanese cars were built off of the german models, just more refined, and smaller....
