My first mod Woot !
Ive heard some good thing's about injen intakes for the fg2 so i picked up this injen sri i didnt want to cut a hole anywhere so i bought the sri for now. I might switch over to the injen cai for the summer after i have a shitload of fun with this intake i cant wait to hear VTEC now. If anyone else has installed this intake let me kno if there where any special things you had to do someone mentioned it didnt have the right size clamps etc. If this is true please let me kno before i install it thanks in advance.

I just went to fleetwood auto body today they gave me an price of $247.07 for the parts, labor, tax i was rec there from a friend so as soon as i get the money it's getting fix.
hahahah i got my first mod today too and i orderd the SRI but they messed up in my order and they sent me a cold air intake ....so im even more happy now hahaha about how long does it take to install the CAI???

what size bulbs? headlights? 9006.
the CAI takes about an hour and a half to install. remove the front bumber, start taking out the factory air box, remember that u do have to "mod" ur car for the CAI. well u might not have to for all of them, maybe u can find a way to NOT cut the fender splash guard. i had to cut a small piece off for the pipe to fit. oh yea, if u are going to put in some aftermarket hyper white bulbs, this would be the time to do it since the bumper is off and the battery is out. it will make it much much easier to replace the bulbs. the intake install isnt hard, just time consuming. good luck and enjoy

With the cai for our fg2's it is recomended to cut a hole in the wheel well to help the pipe fit without rubbing most people have done this those who havent have check later on too see the pipe showing wear from rubbing. I personaly dont want to cut anything on my brand new car to make an intake fit they should have designed it a little better just my 2 cent's.

Cut a whole? never heard that.

I haven't heard of cutting a hole in the FG2's for the CAI. I would recommend against it. (I have had my CAI on for 10,000+ miles and haven't experienced any 'rubbing' on either the splash guard or pipe.
cliffs: take your time and install it right, you don't need to 'mod' any part of your car

I wasent trying to offend you in general there have been many post here, 8thgencivic, and etc stating that aem's throw cel's like its nothing plus dc sports which is made by AEM or vise versa is very shitty at this point in time. I was also going to buy an AEM cai,or sri but through research i found injen was the much better product for our fg2's if your aem cai hasent given you problems that's great enjoy it then !
