Default D16A6 cam in a D15B7, questions about the cam

I searched and read up on this and it answered alot of my questions. But i was still wondering if a Z6 cam or a Y8 cam would work instead of the A6? Reason being i have 3 Z6 cams and 1 Y8 cam already at in my hands. I would hate to have to go buy a A6 cam and be able to use these. I searched but didn't really find anyone ever attempting this.

Anyone have a answer.

thanks

The Z6 cam is v-tec and the extra lobes may be in the way.

No they will not work you can not put a vtec cam in an non vtec head.

Now if you were swap the whole head thats another story.

What are you looking for in a cam, as the stock a6 is better then a b1/2/7 but not too much larger.

If you are into modding look into Exospeed cams for D series nonvtec.

Not really looking to mod it seriously, The car is my DD and i just heard it gives it a little spunk. Driving around with the stock DX motor every morning is getting old. But i dont want to dump money into it.

Ok so Vtec cams are out of the question.. Would a Y7 cam work?
