when i first got my car the blinkers worked but my emergency flashers were real dim. one night when i was on the side of the road (flat tire) i turned my flashers on and about 10 min. later i smelled smoke coming from my car... . long story short blinkers dont work nor do the flashers....taken dash off and everything looks good back there and now im stuck.....

You might want to replace the flasher switch. It controls the blinkers too. I had this happen to one of my hatches. Hope its your fix too. GL

 

yea i took the one out of my friends car and still nothing....its just dead..

 

has to be the hazard button, or the flasher

 

use your senses man
smell it
smell the hazard switch
if it don't smell funky then smell near the blinker switch near your steering wheel
