Default Combinding 2 wastegate springs

i have 2 wastegate springs laying around, a small red one (8psi) spring and a big yellow (4 psi) spring, he told me if you put both of them in the wastegate that the 2 together would run about 12psi off the wastegate.. im not sure about combinding 2 springs but does anyone else know if this is true or not?

true. as long as you are combining a small spring and a large spring. you cannot use two smalls or two larges.

yes you can combine the spring, the pressure will equal the sum of the 2 springs. so in your case 12 psi.

are you sure of those spring pressures though? what kind of wastegate is it? generally the smaller springs are lower psi. here's a link to tial's spring chart http://www.tialsport.com/docum...p.pdf
