the numbers that are on the tranny so u can tell the different between a b-16 and a d-16

you can just tell by eye ball which one is a D or B. I would like to know too but on D trannys. I might buy this SI cable tranny but i dont know how to tell if its an IS.

 

there should be a sticker on the tranny right near the engine code stamp on the motor. it should be 2 or 3 letters/numbers depending on which tranny it is.

yeah i would also like to know how to tell what the number is on a h22 b16 tanny.

whats the code for the SI cable tranny for D series.

it can be any d series cable though since they are all labeled L3. theres 2 ways to tell

1. out it in the car and drive it
2. you mark the diff where the axles goes in and turn the input shaft X amount of times to see where the mark lines up, theres a diagram on here somewheres just do a search for it
