DIY Cai "IceBox"
Can anyone give me some directions to make my own cold air intake with my stock tubing/box etc...?
Also, for those of you who have done it, how does it feel compared to an AEM Cai, and any dyno comparisons?

Dang thats an awesome site/set up BSQ. You always surprise me with what you come up with. Do you think i will lose any power going from aem cai to that?
switched from AEM to $10 intake here
Actually i sold the AEM first, then drove around w/ stock intake for a couple months, then made a BSQ intake. It felt the same as the AEM CAI, only quieter

honestly i really couldn't tell the difference between the two CAIs except for the noise. if you got some earplugs and did a blind test you probably wouldn't be able to tell either
Here is the comment from board member ITRacer121, that I was referring to in my previous post, about switching from the AEM to the DIY "Icebox".
"I dunno I had an AEM and I saw the make it yourself Ice Box instructions and went to work one day on it, installed it, then sold the AEM the next day to a ricer down the street for $150.
I will never go back!"
