I paid nothing over MSRP but I did have to drive 100 miles away. See if you can make them price match some online quotes. That's what I was trying to do instead of drive 100 miles but the dealer close to me was very slow to respond, probably because they didn't want to put effort into selling it to me without the markup.
this dealer i went to got that 5G mark up too......but i managed to find another dealer with no mark up and deposit my $500 for the Fiji Blue....look around there's plenty of dealers with no mark up...
i often said " Dealer's Fucked-up"...

No, mark up are only allowed if the dealership buys the cars from Honda. This does not effect consignment dealers. Consignment dealers just add HFP accessories or wheels to mark it up.

Mommy2savannah51405 how are you getting it at that price? I live in LA cali been waiting a week already for a white sedan si. Please email me info on how to get it at that price if you can ;p much appreciated yoshi23070@yahoo.com THNX
I paid only 17K for OUR civic SI sedan yesterday. (cash..no trade in)
the sticker was 25K.
Nighthawk Black Pearl. Has the foglights..IPOD adapter...
and usually the only way to get greensheet/xplan/invoice is working for another local dealer. Im not sure if all honda dealers will do what ours did for us..but you can try. You need to know exactly what invoice is. Just bring it up to the sales man..if he doesnt want to tell you..you ask for the sales manager..My husband brought it up yesterday(but he also works for another dealer) to the sales man ..he asked what invoice was..the guy didnt know..and said they wouldnt sell at invoice..and his manager stepped in and said yes we will give you invoice..but i think they only did that becuz he works for a dealer.

Its doable. My family's hondas (CRV, Accord, Accord, Odyssey) were all under invoice. two of them were under MSRP out the door (had too many options on other 2). You just need to shop around

I would buy 20 at that price, and take them to auction and watch them all go for over msrp. I not saying your can't buy a Accord, Civic, Ridgeline, Pilot at or back of invoice, but a car that hasn't been on the market for a month. Would you loose $3000 to sell one? Why would you loose money to one person when others are willing to pay MSRP or more?

You are completely right. I wouldn't try to pick up a brand model for invoice when it first comes out. You have wait a couple months at least.
On the same token though, if its the end of a sales month, the manager may be willing to lose a lil to hit bonuses. Theres too many variables. I personally am not aware of all the honda promo/bonuses but I know there are a couple strictly based on volume (doesn't matter which model just overall number)
