Default 1/4 mile expectations for a allmotor ep3 civic with 270whp.

I'd like to know if a ep3 civic would be able to run 11 seconds or at least close to that time at the track with 270whp.

Like 11.0 or 11.99?? Thats a pretty big difference.

270whp would be nice as long as you can hook up properly.

There are guys over at Ephatch that are running low 13's high 12's with about 250-270whp. 11's you better be bring ing in at least 320whp and a good driver.

Another problem with your question is this: Are you talking about with the stock k20a3 and oem 5pd? Or are you talking a k20a2 with that power and the 6spd? That WILL make a difference.

I'm talking about high 11's to low 12's, the set up would be a sleveed k24 bottom end with high compression pistons and a build k20a2 head with 6sp transmisson.

Short answer NO. I dont think you'll hit the 270whp allmotor. Also are you talking a fully gutted Ep3? I would hope so.

You could get that kind of power out of an all motor car. You just need a lot of time and money to get there. and you could hit mid to low 12's with slicks.

guy over at ephatch ran 13.2 with 230whp.
But honestly I think 270 will put u in mid 12's.
For high 11's u need to loose a lot of weight. Just look at nikos's car eg shell with ~270whp N/A he runs like mid-high 11's

i'd say with that much power...i'm guessing 13's...and thats with full interior...maybe with gutted interior, good tires, and a good driver you may hit mid 12's on a lucky run...

270 whp out of a K all motor isnt THAT hard

you can get 270 out of a b18c5 with way too much money and time

so it has to be easier on a K

How the hell would we know? Honestly, you have an Accord motor, which is 160hp stock, and about 145whp stock. So maybe 195-200whp. 1/4 mile....if you can drive, on street tires, low 14's.

Yeah and with those mods people over at ephatch our putting out about 185-190whp. So i do know what I am talking about. So yes, low 14's with 195-200whp is about right. people with k20a's are running in the low 14's and they have about 200whp with bolt-ons. Go check it out over there if you dont believe it.

That accord motor does have alot more torque so you get a better power band that is smoother. Reading owns me a little. I didnt notice that you said u wanted numbers running a 50 shot too. With the 50 id say you would dip into the mid 13's If you can drive it.

Mid 12's, if you have the drivetrain hook'd up, and if you are good behind the wheel.

With 300 FI whp, LSD, & slicks I got a 12.6 with a 1.8 60. You'll need a quaife, slicks & a 1.7 or lower to hit low 12's.
BTW drag racing is that important to the little expletive who can't shut his face!
